Bandon Coffee Café History
RayJen Coffee Co began in April of 1995, as a small espresso bar in the heart of Old Town Bandon, Oregon. In the fall of 1997, they purchased the building we are currently in and added the bakery.
In 1998 they began roasting green coffee to have the freshest coffee possible. April 2005, Steve and Margaret Pounder purchased the retail portion of RayJen Coffee, keeping the name RayJen Coffee Café, with the plan to change the name in the future.
As of December 2005, the roaster moved to the roasting facility on Rosa Road, and they run their wholesale business from that location. March 2006 name was changed from RayJen Coffee Café to Bandon Coffee Café.
We continue to proudly serve RayJen Coffee, and have added a slightly lighter roasted coffee selection from Good Bean Coffee in Jacksonville, OR. We offer several of our favorites for your home brewing pleasure.
